THE IGDS, renowned as the world’s largest department store association, plays a pivotal role in uniting and empowering leading department stores globally. Each year, the association holds awards for World’s Best Team at a Department Store. This past year, Blue Salon was recognized as one of top ten teams worldwide for its remarkable accomplishments during Qatar’s historic hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022, which the Chairman, Ashraf Abuissa, highlights:
“In December 2022, Qatar had hosted the FIFA World Cup for the first time. For Blue Salon, it was a year in which we strengthened the business further by rolling out new business locations that guaranteed our continued success. With over 45 new points of sale at stadiums, metro stations and kiosks at various retail locations; working together on that project had good progress on our strategic goals despite significant challenges.
