AI Sports Successfully Launched ‘Hoops for All’ Basketball Camp to Promote Unity and Social Inclusion in Qatar

AI Sports, Qatar’s leading basketball academy, proudly announced the successful launch of the ‘Hoops for All’ Basketball Camp, a transformative initiative aimed at promoting social integration and unity. The camp took place from December 20 to 28, 2024, at the Qatar Basketball Federation Training Hall in Doha.

Led by Abdulrahim Ashraf Abuissa, FIBA Youth Leader and FIBA Foundation Basketball for Good Ambassador, the ‘Hoops for All’ Basketball Camp welcomed 120 young participants, including 50 children from Gaza alongside local and expatriate youth. The camp provided a unique opportunity for young athletes to develop their basketball skills while fostering essential life skills like leadership, teamwork, and cultural understanding.

The ‘Hoops for All’ initiative was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on good health, quality education, and reduced inequalities. It emphasized the power of sports, particularly basketball, in uniting communities and creating meaningful connections.

With mentorship from local and international basketball experts, the camp provided participants with world-class training, interactive workshops, and team-building exercises. The unique program left young athletes not only with improved basketball skills but also with a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and inclusivity.
