Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Empowering Our Community with Knowledge & Support
At AbuIssa Holding, we are committed to promoting health and wellness within our community. As part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer, we organized a series of initiatives aimed at educating and empowering both our employees and customers.
A Day of Education and Empowerment
In collaboration with the Qatar Cancer Society, we hosted an informative seminar for our female employees. Expert speakers shared valuable insights into breast cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of regular screenings. Swarovski crystal necklaces were gifted to all attendees, symbolizing strength and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.
Blue Salon’s Commitment to Awareness
Blue Salon also hosted a special seminar at Café Blue, in partnership with West Bay Medicare. The event brought together distinguished guests, including members of the Qatar Business Women Association and ambassadors’ wives, creating a space for open discussions on prevention and awareness.
Celebrating Survivors at the Doha Dragon Boat Event
Blue Salon, alongside Triumph, further demonstrated its commitment by participating in the Doha Dragon Boat event, a heartfelt tribute to the courage and resilience of breast cancer survivors. The event highlighted not only the strength of these remarkable women but also the importance of continued support, solidarity, and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
Supporting the Qatar Cancer Society
As part of their ongoing commitment, Blue Salon and other participating brands, such as Godiva, MCM, and Highland, donated 4% of proceeds from sales to the Qatar Cancer Society, supporting the organization’s important work in providing resources to those affected by cancer.
